Willow was spotted as a tiny calf by a girl who regularly walked past the farm where she was kept and over the course of a few weeks with daily visits to see her little face - an attachment formed. Conversation ensued with the farmer about the possibility of rescue for "Willow" which... eventually resulted in his agrement to let her come to us - but not before he had separately spoken to us to assess our credibility as a 'good home'.

Willow arrived in December of 2019 and initially lived at the Asheldham site before moving up to be with the main cow herd at the new farm site. Another baby rescued from a life of misery and death that is the meat & dairy industry.

Sadly the fate of literally millions of other cow babies will continue to result in stress, pain and slaughter until such time as people come to understand that they have a choice - choose to exploit animals or choose not to. It's not difficult
