This is Dennis ! Dennis was rescued along with Artemis and Adonis back at the end of 2022 and so has only been with us for half a year. Both his friends are Highland Cows, but Dennis isn't. He is a breed called a Vaynol - but as he has some splended horns and as he has only ever lived with Highlands, he identifies as a Highland and lives with the Highland Gang at the farm site :)

As you can see he is tiny - despite being 18 months old now and this is in fact the reason he was not kept by the farmer who had him as he is known as a "poor doer". All 3 of them are much smaller than they should have been and so it want worth the time and cost of continuing to feed them at the farm as of course they are sold for slaughter by weight - how truly sad is that.

However the fact that he was a poor doer has literally saved his life. Will you help him carry on living his best life at the sanctuary by helping him meet his sponsorship target?
