Today the final cowpetitor takes her place on the start line of the marathon des cows fundraising extravaganza ! This is little Frederika who has been patiently and eagerly waiting for no less than 53 days! to start her race! Arriving in January this year from the same farm as many of the others (due to downsizing and economics) she quickly settled into the sanctuary life where she only needs to worry about eating, chilling and sleeping!  So far in this event, some 88 people have taken part and sponsored on or more of the cows on a monthly basis.

Each of the Cows aims to raise £100 a month in sponsorship which if successful will go a long way towards preventing the sanctuary from failing which will ultimately mean they all lose their home. So please do consider helping - if only a quarter of our followers on Facebook would spare just £1 a month the sanctuary would have financial security - so don't think your £1 wont make any difference as it certainly will !
