For the penultimate day of the marathon des cows we have young Florence who arrived at the sanctuary back in June 2020.  Like a number of others arriving at that time, she was from a farm who were downsizing due to economic pressures but whom had looked for an alternative to simply sending the unwanted cows to slaughter.  Thankfully we were contacted to see if we could help.

Florence lives with her new family of some 16 Highlands plus Denis the Vaynol and very much enjoys her new life where she has plenty of grub, fields to graze and a snug barn at night if she chooses.
