Rudolph arrived as a 4 week old baby together with his elderly Mum Margot. Margot had been used as a breeding machine and had been impregnated again desite being 15, which is really far too old. 12 is generally considered the ceiling in the "industry" as their fertility drops away after that age - let alone their will to live having had all their babies taken away and having spent their whole lives being pregnant :(  

Margot and baby Rudolph were thankfully saved from slaughter and came to live at the farm site back in 2020. Margot did a great job raising Rudolph to be the big strong boy he is now.  Sadly, life had taken its toll on Margot and she passed away from old age in 2022.

Rudolph stayed by her side all the next day until her body was taken away and then he went out into the fields to be with the rest of his new family.  If you can help Rudolph continue to stay safe at the sanctuary by helping hime reach his target he will be very happy :)
