Henry was one of 10 little boy calves we rescued from slaughter back in October 2017. They were all just 4 weeks old and we managed to fit them all into 'Monty' our van conversion horsebox.

They came from a farm near Diss in Norfolk and were on their way to a fattening unit where they would have been slaughtered in a few short months.  On arrival at the Sanctuary we hand reared all 10 for quite a few weeks at what was then our main site at Asheldham, but before they were a year old we had managed to acquire the much larger new fam site at Bradwell where he now lives with a considerable number of Cow friends and even more horses ! Henry is a Jersey X cow which you can tell from his georgeous colour and his favourite band is Henry Cow (yes there is one called this lol) although he doesn't have any of their albums. 

Henry very much wants to help Fiona continue to look after all the animals and would be grateful if you would help him or one of his friends meet their target by helping from just £1 a month. 

Please dont think that £1 doesn't make any difference, as collectively where many people do this, it can save the day
