There are a lot of wooden buildings and fences at the Sanctuary and all are in need of painting with creosote or cuprinol or whatever preservatives we can get hold of !

What do I have to do?

Well it's just like painting really ! - Old clothes, gloves & if the smell of preservative gets up your nose a face mask might be a good idea !

Ian & his daughter Cathryn came over on Saturday afternoon to paint a fence or two!

This is Max & Mini Max's new Winter area which has been built in the last month at a cost of £1600 for the concrete base & fencing. The shelter was an existing mobile field shelter we had moved into place.

Marney the sheep was not so easily impressed, completely ignoring the virtuoso performance and tucking into Max's hay net
